Industrial hemp is a plant variety derived from the genus Cannabis sativa L. and is among the same species as marijuana. It contains a low concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a chemical compound known for its hallucinogenic effects. Industrial hemp contains less than 0.3 percent THC, which means it cannot be used as a drug.

Cannabigerol (CBG) is the decarboxylated form of cannabigerolic acid, the parent molecule from which other cannabinoids are synthesized. CBG works by binding to both receptors where it's thought to strengthen the function of anandamide, a neurotransmitter that plays a role in enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating appetite and sleep, and alleviating pain. Unlike THC, CBG has no psychotropic effects, so it will not give you a high.

Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) is a hydrogenated derivative of tetrahydrocannabinol. It is a naturally occurring phytocannabinoid that has rarely been identified as a trace component in Cannabis sativa, but can also be produced synthetically by hydrogenation of cannabis extracts. Users say that HHC's effects can feel like a hybrid of Delta 8 and Delta 9 THCs. It is said to deliver the psychoactive, euphoria of Delta 9 with an “energy-like” feel, but may also deliver an overall sense of calmness like Delta 8 does.
